A labor of love. Where everyone else saw a 100-year house and a headache, Sandra saw her dream. Months after celebrating 9 years of the Coop Foodiary, Sandra purchased the house at 26 Victoria St in Downtown Alliston and got to work. A proud local, she sourced every possible element she could from local craftspeople and tradespeople; she had custom chairs built, a front door designed just for her, a bean shaped bar of bent wood, bricks from Alliston’s old factory, tin wall panels from Sir Frederick Banting’s homestead, a pressed-tin roof and more. She’s proud to support the town that has supported her.
Cafe tables out front or covered seating out the back makes this a great cycling lunch spot.
