Stevenson Farm is the former home of grocery magnate Theodore Loblaw. It was a good choice for him since fresh produce abounds in the region. The farm is situated on the edge of the old village of Alliston and offers a peaceful country repose. There are a multitude of cycling options and it’s a day’s ride (85 km) from the end of Toronto’s subway line. From this property you can take shorter trips on a variety of gentle to hilly terrain in the surrounding area. Or head to Collingwood, Creemore, Lakes Simcoe and Huron. And you are close to the trails at a nearby mountain biking centre.
