Jubilee Cycle has been a South Burnaby landmark since 1946, out-fitting countless generations of families with bikes throughout Burnaby and the Lower Mainland.
With a deep and extensive history of results on the road and track, owners Jim Davies (retired) and son Neil Davies, are well-known in the community of cycling in British Columbia. Father Jim, an avid road and track cyclist, competed for Canada at the 1954 British Empire Games in Vancouver and the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia. Neil followed his father’s path and carved out a name for himself on the road and track winning both titles of B.C. Junior Road Champion and Canadian Cycling Champion on the track.
Jubilee continues to service a wide range of clientele from the hard-core mountain biker to the avid roadie to the every-day commuter and the weekend recreational family riders. As a neighbourhood bike shop, Jubilee’s involvement with the community is invaluable and includes: local schools, City of Burnaby, RCMP, BC Housing, BCIT Safety and Security – to name a few.
