The Collingwood Cycling Club was originally formed in 1981 and was re-established in 2012. The mission of the Club is to create a structure of rides and events that promote safe and courteous cycling while fostering the development of riders all ages and abilities.
The club has pace guidelines for their rides, with 5 clusters ranging in average speed of 18km /hour to 30+. It hosts youth mountain bike programme for ages 10 to 18. The club promotes “Tight to the Right” cycling practices. There is an excellent explanation piece on this practice here: http://www.collingwoodcyclingclub.ca/tight-to-the-right
